Moskowitz Statement on the Inauguration of President Donald Trump
Washington, DC
WASHINGTON, DC — Congressman Jared Moskowitz today made the following statement on the Inauguration of President Donald Trump:
“Members of Congress are elected to represent everyone in our districts — not just those who happen to share a party label — and that means it’s critical we work across party lines to solve the pressing issues facing our nation. The last Congress was the most unproductive in decades, and American families can’t afford another two years of that partisanship and dysfunction. They want to see us work together to lower costs, keep our communities safe, and protect our interests around the world. As President Trump takes office today, I will work with his Administration and my Congressional colleagues to achieve those goals where I can, and I will stand up to them to disagree where I must.”
Earlier this month, Moskowitz was sworn in for his second term in Congress. He is a member of the House Judiciary Committee and the House Foreign Affairs Committee, where he was just appointed Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Oversight & Intelligence.
