Moskowitz Sworn in for Second Term in Congress
Washington, DC
WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Congressman Jared Moskowitz was sworn in to his second term in the US House of Representatives, where he will continue his work representing and delivering for Florida’s 23rd Congressional District. He was joined for the occasion by his wife, Leah, and their two sons.
“As we begin this new Congress, families in Broward and Palm Beach Counties are counting on Washington to step up and get things done,” said Congressman Moskowitz. “The last Congress was the most unproductive one in decades. We can’t afford another two years of dysfunction and partisanship. It’s time for people on both sides of the aisle to stand up to political extremism and finally deliver commonsense solutions that will lower costs, keep our communities safe, and defend our democratic values at home and abroad. I intend to find common ground wherever I can and ensure we accomplish meaningful change for the American people.”
During his first term in Congress, Moskowitz cemented his position as one of the most bipartisan members of Congress, working across the aisle to advance school safety legislation, boost border security, secure hurricane disaster relief, and support Israel’s right to self-defense.
