Moskowitz Remains Committed to Supporting Israel & the U.S.-Israel Relationship

WASHINGTON, DC – Today on the House floor, Congressman Jared Moskowitz (D-Florida) continued to his unwavering support for Israel. Moskowitz, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, voted on a key House resolution that backs Israel’s efforts to expand the Abraham Accords and expresses continued support for United States Security aid to Israel.

“For 75 years, America and Israel have stood side by side as partners in the cause of freedom and democracy. The Abraham Accords provides an important model for peace between Israel and its neighbors throughout the Arab world. I believe now more than ever that the U.S. must focus its effort on expanding the Abraham Accords and ensuring that our ally, Israel, has the resources to defend itself. This resolution is a strong step towards that,” said Moskowitz.

More precisely, the resolution which Moskowitz sponsored, reinforces that the United States commitment to: 

  • Strengthening the U.S. – Israel relationship in all areas
  • Expanding Israel’s peace with its Arab neighbors through the Abraham Accords
  • Supporting full security assistance to Israel 
  • Opposing discrimination against the Jewish state within international institutions.

To meet the growing regional and global challenges of the coming decades, Moskowitz remains committed to supporting Israel, which is why he backs expanding the Abraham Accords. The Abraham Accords provides an important model to build regional peace while enhancing multilateral cooperation between Israel and its neighbors. 

As a House Foreign Affairs Committee member, Moskowitz works regularly with his colleagues to further strengthen the United States special relationship with Israel and enhance our strategic relationships around the globe. Moskowitz has supported initiatives that:

  • Recognize Israel as America’s legitimate and democratic ally.
  • Condemn antisemitism and expand education nationwide about the rise of antisemitism and the evil rhetoric that led to the Holocaust.
  • Award the Congressional Gold Medal to American diplomats who took heroic actions to save Jewish people fleeing Nazi Germany.
