Internships

Congressman Jared Moskowitz offers internships in both his Washington D.C. and Coral Springs offices.

Interns will work with staff to serve the constituents of Florida’s 23rd Congressional district. Our goal is to provide each intern with a meaningful experience that will enhance their understanding of Congress. Intern responsibilities may include:

  • Answering phones
  • Sorting and responding to mail
  • Researching legislation
  • Attending briefings and hearings
  • Assisting staff with public events
  • Assisting with constituent casework
  • Administrative work as assigned
  • Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to specialize in either legislative or communications related assignments depending on their interests.

Internships in both the Washington, D.C. and Coral Springs offices run throughout the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.This position is not virtual. Applicants must be available to work Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Internships are available for compensation or academic credit. Please note, House rules state that all paid House of Representative Employees and Interns must be United States citizens.

Application Timeline and Deadlines

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis; priority deadlines are below:

Spring: January to May (Application window: August 1 – November 15)
Summer: May to August (Application window: January 1 – March 15)
Fall: August to December (Application window: May 1 – June 28)
